What could be improved

Nursing staff did not follow hospital protocol. Data was not updated on patient note sheet and doctors orders/prescriptions were not followed. Orthopedic procedures on moving acute and urgent patient were not executed and patients are moved with extreme pain. Some staff members told my family member to shut up when groaning in agony.

Anything else?

The area where my family member was left unattended for many hours was filthy. Dirt and bodily fluids from previous patients was scattered around the bedside. We had to bring in our own cleaning supplies to clean the area.
