My Father had an appointment at the doctor’s surgery at 10: 50, we were a few minutes late but got there before 11: 00. We were told to take a seat and wait. After 40 minutes we were told the doctor would not be able to see us as he was too busy and because we had been so late arriving – the receptionist thought we had arrived around 11: 25 but this was not the case.
During the time we had been waiting we saw the receptionist taking prescriptions through to the doctor for him to sign – she could have let him know we were waiting to be seen. Now I have to make another appointment for my father.
This is not acceptable.
