What I liked
Nice gounds on the hospital but shame the hospital never matched it's first impression.
What could be improved
Mum was in hospital and I feel like Mum was not important to the staff at all and was indeed a nuisance, some of the nursing staff would put themselves out to help Mum but I feel in general the hospital let Mum down badly, her overall level of care was very unacceptable and Mum detiorated rapidly under this hospital, not turned in her bad despite being bedridden so ulcers and sores developed and the worse part of it all was Mum was allowed to suffer unnecessary pain and this I find totally unnacceptable.
Anything else?
The general attitude of staff I found ok but they were not forthcoming with information regarding Mum and I found this to be extremely frustrating. I ultimately lost Mum at the end of this after a brief time in a nursing home which were brilliant to Mum but I believe Mum would have stood a better chance of surviving if she had been treated better, the fact Mum would not drink was ultimately down to poor pain relief and the hospital failed to give Mum the medication she needed.
"Nice gounds on the hospital but ..."
