"Kind, caring and thorough."

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I visited the Ophthalmology Dept after suffering sudden temporary total blindness in both eyes. Mr Kostakis and his staff were very thorough and even though my eyes came out with a clean bill of health after being examined by no less than 4 Drs, I was still refered to a Neurologist as it was suspected I had MS.

The Drs and nurses were wonderful and coped admirably with the massive numbers of patients they had waiting. The service flowed well and was with military precision. I was seen by a nurse (for eye chart tests) whilst waiting for my allotted appointment time so as not to create a backlog.

110% to all the staff at DRI, I haven't found a bad one yet!

Thank you very much for this positive feedback.

It is very nice for staff to know that their hard work is valued.

We will pass on your comments to the hospital.

Best wishes
