"Medical treatment excellent but I have problems with transport service"

I have to go into Guys and St Thomas' NHS Trust Hospitals several times a year.

The medical treatments I receive are ALWAYS excellent from the both Consultant surgeons and the nursing staff.

My one gripe is with the private company providing some of the Patients Transport Services.

if one has an appointment before 08.30am, the private company is booked to collect the patient. whenever I have had to be at the hospital before 08.30am, this company have failed to collect me and I have had to call a taxi which costs from £30 a time which is then collectd from the clinical department to which I am attending. I do get reimbursed but it is an inconvenience and I could miss my appointment or even surgery as happened on the past two occassions.
