"Echocardiogram - Cardiology"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

Received a telephone call from Cardiology department offering me an appointment the following morning due to cancellations. Appointment made for 9am and at exactly that time I was called through by a doctor for my test. They were polite, friendly and professional. Introduced themselves and explained what they'd be doing and afforded me the privacy to prepare ready for my Echocardiogram. Throughout the procedure they were reassuring and chatted, although I kept this to a minimum as I was mindful that they probably needed to concentrate. They also apologised when we were interrupted by a colleague for some information. Overall a very stress free experience and I was very happy with the reception and treatment provided by all staff, and in particular my thanks to the doctor who is a real credit to the team and department. Thank you.
