"Cheerful atmosphere"

About: Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital

I arrived for a first visit to mum as she,d been transferred th previous day from Zkent and Canterbury. The atmosphere was friendly and there was a Pearly Queen tea party taking place. Off duty staff and family were welcomed and much effort put into a fun and lovely afternoon. 5 star cakes and tea served by'nippies' ...old fashioned title given to waitresses inJo Lyons cafe days. About 15 or mire in patients were clapping and some singing,a wonderful experience. Mum was very happy and felt well cared for. She reckons the meals so far are great! She,ll be home soon with all this care. Thank you so much
