About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

I had an operation at blackburn hospital on the 19th March. I was very nervous 1) about having the op as I knew it wasn't going to be easy 2) being away from home as I'm from blackpool. My surgeon and the team are absolutely incredible, and made me feel at ease the minute I arrived thanks to the surgeon's brilliant skill. The op went smoothly and I was released on 21st March. I was placed on ward B20 room 1 and I can honestly say I've never been looked after by more caring and professional staff ( and I've been in blackpool Vic a lot) the staff on that ward are second to none and should be very proud of the level of care they give please pass on my appreciation to all the staff that took care of me.
