"Removal of wisdom tooth"

About: Royal Liverpool University Dental Hospital

I have visited the dental hospital three times, yesterday (20 March) being to remove my problem wisdom tooth. On each occasion I have been impressed that the dentists and students have taken time to explain everything to me, offering suggestions and alternatives but involving me in informed decisions about my treatment. Previously I have hated having dental injections because not only did I find them painful but I was left with intense pain for 48 hours afterwards. The suggestion was that most dentists inject too suddenly, causing bruising, so slow injection might solve the problem. It did - 100%!! A student carried out a painless slow injection followed by a problem-free extraction. Thank you, I hope you get to read this, I have had no pain at all! Please ask your tutor to give you some brownie points or gold stars or something for this! Helen
