I would like to praise all the staff that I have come into contact with whilst receiving treatment at Kettering General Hospital whilst I have been undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I would particularly like to praise the Breast Care Unit. The nurses are always caring and supportive and did their upmost to help me, for example fitting me in at short notice to check swelling under arm. The doctor was always approachable and informed me of all my choices. I am pleased with the results of my surgery. It was also lovely to have my own room and toilet when I came in for surgery. The nurses and anaesthetists at the Treatment Centre were all helpful and made my stay as pleasant as it could be. I would also like to praise all the support from the staff at the Centenary Wing. The doctor was very informative and the nurses there were also very supportive. I also had positive experiences from other staff during my heart echo, MRI, CT and bone scans. Overall I am impressed by the speed which I was sent for scans, treatment etc. All the staff I encountered made me feel comfortable and at no point did I feel embarrassed or upset by them. Everyone has made a difficult time much easier
