"Mis- diagnosed three times"

About: York Hospital

1st visit to York hospital Oct 2014, swallow ankle after fall, x-ray and told keep elevated and will be ok, nothing broken, no crutches given. I then insisted on second X-Ray in November, to be told again you are walking ok, seems ok, but to be on safe side send you for MRI. Got MRI results and told again, looks ok, will take time to get better. I insisted something is wrong and finally after 5 months saw the ankle consultant to be told, your ankle is fractured, you have a 2cm piece of broken bone floating around your ankle and we need to operate, then ill be in pot for 8 weeks etc. Put on emergency waiting for cancellation, rang today to be told ill have to wait another 3 Months. So mis-diagnosed three times, ive been walking on a fractured ankle for the last 5/6 months...and still waiting for operation.
