"Ward A9 Surgical Assessment Triage Assessment Unit"

About: New Cross Hospital

I have recently needed to use A9 Surgical Assessment unit on the 17thMarch 2015 From seeing how the NHS has been struggling due to staffing levels and budget cuts I can honestly say the treatment I received and level of care was fantastic! They were constantly on the ball with all patients and keeping them updated! Doctors were actually around to see and useful with there information and having the understanding to use medical terms but also explaining what complicating medical terms were if like myself was unable to understand! The staff were constantly on the go and for the time period I was there I didn't see them even take a rest break but this didn't affect there level of care, when I was in the unit I noticed a poster on there wall which was called the 6C's (Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment) I wish to show and thank all the staff working on that day, I remember some of there names but not all so I don't wish to name any as they all did a fantastic job and don't wish to leave anyone out. To all staff working that day your are a credit to the hospital and our NHS please keep up your hard work and level of care because you are doing a fantastic job! Not 1 person that day I spoken to had a bad work to say! Hopefully this feedback will reach the guys on the ground so they can see there hard work is being noticed and is appreciated! Just to clarify there location it's the first door on the right as you walk into A9 corridor, This Email doesn't regard the actual A9 bed ward, I believe it is where you would go to for surgical assessment if you are referred by your GP.
