"ACAD Central Eye Service - Blepharoplasy Operation"

From the moment I was referred to the ACAD Central Middlesex Central Eye Services, to my last visit yesterday, I cannot have wished for better service. There were two small areas for improvement (mentioned below) but overall, I was treated professionally, in a very timely manner and found the team to be efficient and friendly. Most importantly my condition was diagnosed accurately and the corrective measures recommended and carried out, completely solved my problem. My consultant and their team were superb. Two points for improvement: 1) The ACAD reception was not manned on all my visits. This proved to be a problem on my first visit and for relatives to locate the correct department after my surgery. 2) Post surgery, I was unable to see and was left in a room for 2 hours without any contact. I didn't know where I was nor whether I was alone or with others as I could hear voices etc. It would have been nice if someone could have just explained my surroundings Thanks to the team for a very successful NHS experience.
