"Wife's On going bad finger"

About: Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead)

Not happy with the treatment wife's finger that's is infected .She gets sent home from hospital.after the op then we eat up back in the MIU at the hospital with in days with it still infected and all they keep doing is wash it out and antibiotics that don't work.she is now on a ward.The surgeon she is under was going to see her on the day after she was admitted but did not turn up .Three days later she is told that she is now been passed to another surgeon seen them once. Nobody tells my wife what's happening .Instead she sees them take a short cut through the ward she is on to the private hospital to do there private work.They can't be bothered to stop.still on going 16/3/2015

We are concerned to read of the treatment that your wife is currently receiving. May I suggest that your wife asks to speak to the Matron on the ward, Kathy Brasier or should you wish to speak to her directly she can be reached by telephoning 01342 306670. It would be important to be able to understand what is happened to her and to look into the treatment plan that has been suggested by the clinician. Alternatively please contact the PALS service pals@qvh.nhs.uk to enable us to progress this. I would be happy to call you if you provide your contact details.
