"Admitted to A&E with cellulitis"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

(as the patient),

My doctor sent me into the accident and emergency admissions at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital with cellulitis. I was there for two days. It was a mixed ward which I thought was not nice at all. There were 8 patients constantly changing due to the type of ward. The staff gave good care but at night gathered round the desk and continued laughing and talking as if it was day time (I accept that to them it was their normal shift). I therefore did not get much sleep and I thought the food was not very good. I was transferred to the OPAH system of an injection each day and travelling from home this was an excellent idea and the staff were extremely caring and considerate.
