My wife and I are from Southampton and we were spending a weekend away in Broadway when she experienced severe chest pains overnight, which meant she had to be admitted to Cheltenham General Hospital. We're relieved that she was discharged 5 days later. With me having to commute back and forth from Southampton, what was already an upsetting and traumatic experience could have been made even worse. However we cannot praise highly enough all aspects of the service and treatment provided by the hospital and it's staff. The quality of care, facilities, food, communication were all exemplary. If I ever need emergency treatment I can think of a lot worse places to be admitted to! NHS at its best!
"Fantastic care while far from home"
