Antrim maternity ward was the 3rd maternity ward I had been to in the space of a few days. I was in labour 16weeks early. The staff were lovely and could not have done more for me and my partner.
Sadly my son died when he was 15hrs old but thanks to the staff in both the maternity and neo-natal ward, we got to hold Gary. Those wonderful hours will be with us forever and it is a blessing that Gary's family was allowed to see him even though it was only meant to be grandparents in the room.
Thank you to all the staff that I met in my 48 hours there. God bless you all.
