"Day patient experience"

About: Leighton Hospital

I attended for my (6th) annual endoscopy check. One of many on the list, I was treated with courtesy and respect by professional and caring people. Two of the nurses were outstanding in this respect one of whom was a theatre staff nurse who reassured and comforted me when the procedure got painful - part of the process, not complaining! On this occasion, the Treament Centre was unavailable and Ward 11 was being used. In spite of this, the patient care was up to the usual high standard.

Thank you very much for taking the time to contact us regarding the care given to you whilst attending endoscopy and ward 11. Staff are delighted to hear when patients feel that they have been well looked after. We will make sure that your feedback is given to the staff and hope you are making a good recovery.
