Was seen as an emergency in late 2013 / early 2014 due to various symptoms indicative of raised intracranial pressure. After being seen, neuro test, and various assessment - ie ultra sound scan only - I was told I had optic disc drusen in both eyes and no treatment or follow up was needed, and discharged. I went to a routine annual eye test in Feb 2015 and was referred to my GP, who referred be back, due to raised eye pressures. Bearing in mind this had been the case when I was seen in W'ton eye infirmary over 12 months before (and they knew of this), and no follow up was deemed necessary or appropriate, why did they not follow me up? I have loads of chronic ailments including type 1 diabetes and cannot understand what's gone on. Now I find I may have problems with my eyes, which should of been addressed over 12 months ago. Not impressed.
"Should of been followed up!"
