"unclean"

About: Princess Royal University Hospital (Orpington)

I walked through this fast paced place and first went to the restrooms. Two loo seats were covered in blood, one had a sanitary pad thrown across one seat and was sticking to it. Another loo was filled with mess and another, the cleanest, had no soap in the dispenser and no loo paper. The door handles were greasy, and the Hospital had a strong smell of urine. When I reached my mother on Pru, level one, she was in distress because a Doctor had told her they would not ressuciate her if she went into arrest without asking her if she wanted to choose to be left to die or withoit consulting us, her family. So far, a week later, no one has phoned us not even to tell us that today my mother is coming home so could someone be in to let her in. A care plan was not set up, which is required by law, and her legs are still red and swollen with infection, not dressed at all. She was left alone most of the time, not washed and no one to talk to. Only some of the staff the healthcare nurses were friendly with her and on medic ward one most were very kind
