I telephoned at 15. 00 recently in the afternoon after finding my parents ill. A doctor returned the call asking if I could get them to a treatment centre. On replying no, they said a doctor would visit. I rang again because their health was getting worse and was told a doctor would be round in 2-3 hours. This doctor finally arrived at 01. 00am the following morning and said they would arrange an ambulance to take them to hospital. This ambulance arrived at 05. 00 having come from Bridport.
Next time I will be ringing 999 straight away and would not recommend anyone to use it.
