"A & E Treatment early hours March 1st"

About: Good Hope Hospital

I was unable to urinate and in pain when I reported to A & E around 4am. I was seen almost immediately by a nurse who scanned my bladder and called a colleague who fitted a catheter calmly with kindness and the relief was immediate. I was kept informed what was happening and later transferred, where they were expecting me and a bed was ready. My treatment at Good Hope was excellent.
