To all staff members on Ward 2, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for making my recent visit to your hospital a stress free one (given the circumstances). I came in on Thursday 5th March 2015 for an operation to remove my prostate and I'm glad to say that I'm now well on the road to a good recovery (fingers crossed). I must say that from my early arrival on the Thursday morning, all the way through to my departure on Friday evening, everything went exactly to plan, if not better. The ward was spotless and I was more than happy with the food that was served to me over the couple of days of my stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the nurses on the ward, whether I was asking for extra jugs of water or just general advice on medication etc.. All members of staff were polite, friendly and above all very professional. I would also like to thank my consultant and their team of theatre staff who helped perform the operation. Thanks to all of you on Ward 2, I am now back in the comfort of my own home being cared for by my family and district nurse and hoping to make a full recovery in the very near future. Thanks again for all your help and please know that it has been very much appreciated. Regards John Gillis
