About: Kirkby East Children's Centre

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The children's centre recently has had a refurbishment which has imporved the main room.

The enviroment is much more friendly and approprate for children. everything is clean and fresh and there is pleanty for the children to play with, we really enjoy coming to the groups and in my experience the staff have all been helpful and polite. I always feel very welcome and my daughter enjoys all activities.

The staff go above and beyond to make people feel welcome.

Thank you for this wonderful feedback, we have been working really hard over the last few months in all our centres to improve their set up and decoration, the staff have worked so hard to achieve this, with lots of help and advice from parents and children. We plan to start work on our outdoor play areas next so I hope you and your child/ren enjoy these developments also. I am happy you are experiencing a welcoming setting for both you and your children, the staff seem to go the extra mile to ensure everyone is made to feel welcome and it is great to get such positive feedback, I will ensure our staff teams see your comment. Our outdoor play areas have now been upgraded just in time for our fantastic summer plans and events. Families can now enjoy the outdoors which include play mud kitchens, new bikes and push alongs a new summerhouse for children and lots, lots more, come and join is this summer for fun in the sun in our all new play areas across Ashfield, contact your local Children's Centre for more details about our sessions and events
