"Busy but attentive staff at day surgery"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

My experience of day surgery was excellent from start to finish, a well run efficient department on the day I attended, praise to all the staff who were so helpful and explained everything that was too happen.

To say the dept was very busy they were still quite attentive to each patient so well done.

I work in a small team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which seeks to involve patients and carers in the work of the NHS. The biggest part of my role is in managing feedback projects across the Board area, one of which is Patient Opinion. It is my job to give our patients and carers the opportunity to give us feedback, and to make sure that this is passed to the right people to help us improve the services we provide.

I am really pleased to read about your experience in the Day Surgery Unit at the New Victoria - and I know that the staff will be really happy to hear that you have taken the time to send us such lovely feedback. It is particularly great to hear that the levels of attention given to each patient are not affected when the department is busy, which is so important.
