After 15 months of trying to conceive, we visited our GP who started the process of testing us both. This took another 15 months and we were eventually seen at our local fertility clinic where IVF was discussed.
We were asked if we would be willing to travel to other facilities within Scotland to improve our waiting time and within 3 months we were invited to Ninewells for an initial appointment. 2 months later in October 2014 we began our Cetrotide Protocol treatment cycle.
From start to finish, the care both my husband and I received from all the nursing staff was second to none. They were approachable, compassionate and kept us fully informed throughout. I'm delighted to be able to say the treatment worked and we are looking forward to welcoming our Son in July.
I can honestly say that one of the reasons the treatment worked so well was because of how at ease I was made to feel by the staff.
