Treated very horribly and felt like crap after. Staff need training On how to deal with people of a different race and learn not to call people "she" I have a name.

Hello, first of all I am so sorry you did not get a response to your comment at the time. This was because of a technical problem with the website which meant we were not receiving all comments. We are now working with NHS Choices to sort this out. However I would also like to apologise for the experience you had at A&E, this is not what we expect from our staff. You are right that it is vital for people to treat people with respect, to communicate well and to understand the needs of people with different cultural and racial backgrounds. We have been working on training on these areas with staff.

I will pass this on to the team so they can make sure this is not repeated. Thank you for your feedback, we do appreciate it.
