After suffering severe pains in my flank i was reffered to the hospital for evaluation regarding a possible appendicitis when i arrived there there was a moderate wait but after that all moved pretty quickly i had the usual battery of tests but then a few hours in what i can only call purgatory where i didn't know what was happening. after this they decided i need the organ out and was transferred to the pre-op ward which was fine until my operation was bumped by 12 hours for someone else... when that was done though i was swiftly moved to surgery and all went well albeit I did take exception to having my underwear removed and being shaved... the post op care for 3 days was fine i was given pain killers and anti biotics and the nurses were excellent! Free meals and quite good ones, allowed to go out for a walk and a smoke etc. I wasn't too happy about the huge costs of the entertainment system though especially seeing as i had no way to go anywhere else and get a book or the like..
