"I was referred by the NHS for bunion surgery."

About: Beaumont Hospital

I was sent to The Beaumont by the NHS as a day patient for bunion surgery and was worried about going to a non-NHS facility but the whole experience was very positive. Every member of staff I saw was professional, friendly and efficient. I was consulted every step of the way and could have believed my minor operation was the most important procedure they were carrying out that day! Everyone knocked before coming into my room and gave me their name and job title: basic manners and respect maybe but it doesn't happen everywhere! I believe strongly in the NHS and would not pay to beat a waiting list but I would recommend anyone referred to The Beaumont by their NHS surgeon to take up the offer.
