I found out I was having an ectopic pregnancy through two scans at the early pregnancy unit at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. I had to have a blood test, which confirmed that I needed surgery to remove it. I stayed for three days, the operation being done on the second day. Each and every person who dealt with me was pleasant informative, caring and compassionate, especially the nurse on the ward who put me at ease. My only complaint was one of the nurses who came to take blood from me was a bit rough with the hand with the canula in which was hurting, even though I told her it hurt. But other than that, I have no complaints.
"Pleasant informative, caring and compassionate staff"
