I had an angiogram last month which unfortunately couldn't be completed due to a thrombosis near my heart and my foot went dead due to the femoral artery problem. So instead of staying in the day care unit I was there 2 nights. My care was exceptional. CT scan and hooked up to various appliances. Was told the worst case scenario was that I could lose my life and surgery might be needed that night. Luckily this was not the case. I cannot praise all the staff enough from the cardiac team who kept me talking to the wonderful nurse who could not do enough for me and others on the ward despite being short staffed in the morning. The nurse who looked after me and carried my bag outside when my son came to collect me. I am sure I will be visiting again in the future but am sure that I will receive the same amount of compassion and care. The only downside is the parking but not sure what the hospital can do about that! Xxxx thank you.
"Thank you with all my heart."
