On January 2nd 2015 I kept an appointment for a colonoscopy. Having never required any intrusive hospital treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital I was unsure of service/care I would receive. Any prior misconceptions were based upon stories printed in the National press about the NHS. However the service and care I received was of the very highest order. My specialist was very caring and professional, taking care to explain the procedure and possible outcomes. I cannot praise the Colonoscopy/Endoscopy department highly enough. Super, professional service.
