"Vulnerable adults"

I made a complaint about the problems my wife and I had at The Countess of Chester Hospital in May 2008. I was not happy at the outcome of my complaint on a personal level but I was pleased that amongst other things the trust said they were going to improve their vulnerable adults policy. The last time they wrote to me in January or February 2009 they said they had written a new policy but it had not been approved by the trust board but this would happen soon and that they would send me a copy. I still have not heard anything. I do not know if the Vulnerable Adults Policy has been changed. My experience of making a complaint to this trust was not good for my mental health and left me feeling that I would rather have a tooth extracted than go through that again. But I do want to know if the Vulnerable Adults policy has been changed and I would like to know that it is better than adequate and that all staff know and understand it.
