I was due to have an operation on the 13/03/2007. Having returned from holiday on the 01/03/2007 my body was full of blisters due to being bitten by sand fleas, so i phoned the hospital to postpone my operation. I have now been told i have gone to the bottom of the list and have to wait a further 6 months. I think this is so unfair, i gave them plenty of notice so they could offer this date to someone else. My GP told me if i had turned up on the day for the operation they would have refused to do it.
