"Bridlington District Hospital Out Patients"

About: Bridlington & District Hospital

(as the patient),

Friendly Service and Staff, but very slow. There was no anti-bacterial hand wash bottles on the walls or desk as you came into the hospital. None on reception area or in out patients section, had no anti-bacterial hand washes . No leaflets or posters about washing hands. Very Poor!

In Leicester Royal, there are bottles of hand lotions, on main doors, reception, wards and beds, posters everywhere, A1 Service. In my opinion Bridlington had very poor standards.

Another problem was that you where asked to give your name and address and date of birth and telephone numbers OUT LOUD in a reception area full of strangers. This has happened twice now the last time was in the G.P surgery section, which is in a corridor full of people to hear, and the details of G.U patients with sexual problems could be heard by ALL, which is a very busy area. I think that identity Fraud could be a problem. You only need a date of birth or name and address to set up false accounts. I think Bridlington has a lot to learn.
