"Would you like a cup of tea?"

Some four years ago now I was admitted to Ealing Hospital with severe chest pains. I now joke with my close friends, that "I 'ad angina running all up me left arm!" But, at the time the joke was on me...I hardly remember much about the actual attack as I was at the time too stressed out about why this 'bloody heartburn had started to join up with my left arm in a battle to convince my chest that there was an Elephant sitting on my ribs!...(blink)...the ambulance is here...(blink)...where is the pain Sir?...(blink)...Relax Sir, we're taking you to Hammersmith...(blink)...Would you like a cup of tea?... And that was all I can really remember about that day really, except maybe, all the kindness, consideration and warmth I felt that I was being looked after by some of the best in Britain...what a lucky lad I am! So, I wish to say thank you to the staff at the Hammersmith Hospital. From Ealing.
