"Excellent care of my mother"

There has been excellent care of my mother at Hillview Nursing Home since a disabling stroke in September 08. Pressure sores and weight loss which occurred in hospital have been improved by the care home. All the staff are kind and caring and appear to have a high level of empathy with the patients. One problem I think is that not all things are documented when they occur such as catheter by passing, carers get into a routine of writing ‘care given’. Overall the standard is excellent, I have experienced many homes during my career as a GP can only applaud the staff at Hillview for their standard of care and compassion.
