My son attended a physiotherapy appointment on Monday at St Helens hospital. He is on crutches, unable to drive following an injury to his leg. This was his first appointment following the incident. He was unable to receive any treatment as the staff informed him that they did not have his notes and were unable to find them. He was given a subsequent appointment for 2 days later and had to return to work in a taxi. He attended for the appointment 2 days later, transporting himself in a taxi and taking more time off work.
He was very happy with the treatment he received, what a pity it wasn't right the first time.
"No notes - no treatment!"
