About: Orpington Hospital

My first visit to Orpington Hospital for an ultrasound scan. The department was very busy but I was seen on time. The technician explained the procedure and put me at ease, informing of the likely timescale for transfer to my GP. They also reminded me to stop at the excellent cafe before leaving the hospital as I had fasted for 12 hours. I was treated kindly but with the utmost professionalism. I cannot fault the service. I know that there are pressures on the NHS but I can honestly say that these were not apparent on my visit. (I visited the x-Ray department but this does not appear as an option to select).
