I attended ENT Outpatients in E block today. Easy parking (bonus), well signposted, short but acceptable wait with enough chairs for all, plenty of staff in evidence at 9am. Invited into consulting room by a friendly nurse who took time to chat and put me at ease. Doctor was friendly and approachable, I felt he listened as I recounted my story and he was scrupulous in explaining things and involving me in my care, seeking my opinions and for the first time ever I think, I felt involved in my care and treatment. I really feel I could not have had better treatment. I have experienced worse manners and attitudes from hotels which I have paid for. Well done CGH ENT dept. I hope I don't need to visit again, but if I do I will be confident about the service and treatment I will receive.
