"Adferiad Mental Health Ward"

I have been visiting my wife every day since her admission at the end of January 2015. Without exception, the staff are polite, welcoming, interested, competent and patient. I had heard and read horror stories about mental hospitals in the past (all anecdotal but frightening nevertheless), but the experience of my wife and I could not be more different. Every day on the news there seems to be at least one story which paints the Welsh NHS in a wholly perjorative light. Well it is NOT all bad and I hope this feedback will, at least in some way, put the other side of the story. My wife's improvement is beyond recognition and I am confident for the first time in months that she will make a full recovery and return to the wonderful wife and mother she was born to be. We all love you, mummy. We continue to pray for you every day and thank God for the lifeline of Adferiad and it's wonderful team.
