I duly reported for my gall bladder removal operation at 07:00 Hrs, and left early the following day. During all this time I met with nothing but courtesy, efficiency and great care. From surgical to nursing to catering (hot toast and good coffee the following day) to cleaning staff(who I bumped into during the early hours) to the clerical staff on the ward. One nurse I would like particularly to mention please. She is in her first year as a qualified nurse, and we spoke during the evening of my first day, and then I didn't see her again. She was very caring - and fun and this was greatly appreciated, especially as I wanted to go home in the evening but I was clearly not ready. So Thank You All. My visit was as pain free and pleasant as it could possibly be. My family have always said that I don't make the best of patients but I am very well and almost back to 'normal'. Thank You Again
