"special care baby unit/maternity"

About: Wansbeck Hospital

My little boy was delivered at wansbeck at 27 weeks gestation, the staff were amazing at trying to keep me calm and keeping me as informed as possible about my son after he'd been transferred out, and i had stayed. 6 weeks later, we managed to consider back to wansbeck, and all the staff on scbu deserve awards! They encouraged me to help as much as I could, as they understood how hard it was being apart from your baby, and never made me feel like i was in the way (no matter how late i stopped) they answered all our questions and made us feel as comfortable as we could have been in that situation. My baby was born 1lb 13oz, and is now at home doing amazingly, and i fully thank wansbeck hospital scbu for that!!

Dear Madam, Thank you for sharing your story. What a frightening time for you all, and not how you'd imagined the birth would be, I'm sure. It is so lovely to hear that your baby is doing very well at home . The team on scbu will be delighted to hear this. They will also be really pleased to read your kind feedback about their great care and how much you appreciated their support . I am imagining that your hands are very full at the minute meeting the needs of that precious new bundle of yours, so it is very good of you to find the time to celebrate our staff. It means a great deal to us. Thank you. Take great care of yourself. With all best wishes and congratulations to you as a family, Annie
