"Reassuring care"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary / General medicine

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

This story has been posted by Healthwatch Tameside on behalf of a member of the public who wanted to remain anonymous. They said...

This lady is cared for at Manchester Royal Infirmary in the immunology department. She is very happy with her care. She needs sub-cutaneous injections every week (self-administered) and attends regular clinic appointments. She feels her condition is closely monitored, which reassures her.

Thank you for your comments posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding your care at the Manchester Royal Infirmary’s Immunology Department. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication. It was reassuring to hear that the patient felt that her care was closely monitored that this has reassured her that the hospital has given her the care and treatment she needs. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the managers of the units and the staff involved.
