I believe that a hospital A&E receptionist should welcome patients with sincerity as this is the place we call upon when we are in need. When I arrived, the receptionist greeted me with "What are you here for?" She was rude and obnoxious and acted like she didn't be there. "To ensure the care and experience of patients and their families is excellent." - This was not what I received. "Staff - feel proud to work here and be making a difference" - The receptionist acted like her job was just a pay cheque, it was like I was one too many patients for her, and that is not the correct attitude when someone is telling them private issues when they are not even qualified doctors.
