"Day surgery"

About: Hexham General Hospital

I attended Hexham Hospital for a minor day surgery procedure. I cannot fault the staff or hospital itself. From my first referral appointment with my Consultant to being admitted the following week, everyone I came in contact with were most helpful, caring, genuine and courteous. I stayed on Ward 3, the nursing team were brilliant, the theatre nurses and the surgical team were faultless. Obviously nervous, I was reassured throughout and treated with the utmost care. I work in the hospitality industry where customer service is a basic, well, the care and service provided by everyone I came in contact with were a credit to Hexham Hospital and the NHS as a whole.
