"four and a half month wait"

I have been to see a doctor in the outpatient department where I was sent for tests despite these tests being done within a month of my appointment I have only just received a return appointment over four and a half months after my last test (5 and a half months from my first appointment ) and I suspect the only reason I have been sent the appointment now is because I rang up asking what was happening would not recommend this hospital to anyone who is in pain as you are likely to remain that way for some time waiting for appointments to arrive (think months not weeks)
