"Called 111 on a Friday night - seen within an hour"

Pregnant girlfriend who isn't even registered yet as comes from Italy, was diagnosed on the phone from calling 111 with bad vomitting and other symptoms. Had an appointment within the hour and were seen fairly quickly. Fantatsic for Friday night at midnight. Thorough examination, treatment and prescription. Out of hours gp near a&e in mayday (university hospital) Didn't know about this service and very appreciative. Back home within 2 hours. Would recommend. Got the 111 number by calling my closed GP clinic, recorded message.
