even though I attend the eye clinic regularly for lucentis injections to both eyes I am still so anxious at each visit I am able to cope with my anxiety because of the wonderful caring staff starting as you walk through the doors the receptionists have gone beyond the call of duty to help me on more than one occasion all of the staff in the department are kind caring and so understanding even though they are so busy they never rush you always listen and if you have any concerns they do their very best to put your mind at rest the consultants discuss and agree your treatment with you again no matter how busy the department is and however many patients they have waiting when you are with them it is your time and you are never rushed and again always listened to the care is amazing the peace of mind that there is someone there to talk to 24hrs a day iif needed is amazing I have on occasion had to phone the ward after the clinic has closed for advice and they have always been so helpful .The eye clinic with its wonderful staff is a credit to the trust
