About: Hexham General Hospital

From day one at the hospital, we all felt that Mum in law was in good hands. She was treated kindly and with patience at all times, all staff involved spoke clearly and carefully for her, taking the time to ensure she'd understood and heard-and felt involved and listened to. Her care was excellent and communication with her family thorough. We felt forewarned and aware of her condition at all times. Every member of staff from night support staff to Sister was just ideal, professional and caring.

Dear Sir / Madam, Thank you so much for sharing this with us. As I read you description of care I felt very proud of Hexham and the staff who work there. I am so pleased that your Mum not only got the care she needed but also that this care was delivered in exactly the right way for her. It is exactly what we are striving to achieve for all our patients across all of our hospitals. I do hope you Mum is feeling a lot stronger now and happy to be back home again. Take care, Annie
